We set out to make this year’s launch of the Beats Studio Pros the biggest ever, by enlisting some serious celebrity star power. The question was… which celeb? To find the perfect partner, we masterminded a plan that put two cultural titans and their Beats head-to-head, then let the world decide. And decide they did.

THE LEAK

It all started when Jimmy, in his excitement, leaked the test materials for his new Beats Studio Pro concept. His signature color, Mustard, was “inspired by a deep and abiding love for hot dogs.” But his overeager share prompted Beats to respond.

THE FILM

It wasn’t long before Jimmy discovered just what - or, rather, who - he was up against.

From there, the rivalry has spread across culture, playing out in the press, social media, wild postings, and in the court of public opinion.
